A Bit About Jill

Supervised by Ektha Aggarwal, LCSW

Listening to ocean waves crashing relaxes me and  helps to remind me about the ebbs and flow of being a child and transitioning into adulthood.

I understand that life may not be easy and always simple, and sometimes it feels like the world is crashing down all around you.  A deep breath or kind words can go a long way in soothing you in a time of distress. As your therapist, I specialize in working with children and teens ranging from issues such as anxiety and separation anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger and acting out behaviors, bullying, domestic abuse, divorce, grief and loss of a loved one, and issues dealing with self esteem and self worth. I teach mindfulness tools, I help to build self confidence and self esteem, teach about boundaries and communication, guide you through challenging moments that come up in the home and school, and help families build a healthy relationship dynamic between one another.

The colorful life experiences I have journeyed through since I saw my first therapist at the age of 7, has paved the way for me to specialize in child therapy in Los Angeles for your children and families. Early on I learned it is important to get the help and tools at a young age so that you’re able to cope and regulate your nervous system as you transition to adulthood. This journey doesn’t have to be anxiety provoking for your children and teenagers, they can learn to cope and enjoy this transition with happiness and play.

When working with children, I use play therapy modalities such as sand play to foster learning and help them explore their imagination (unconscious thinking patterns) through their play.

You can help your children get to know themselves and to understand their inner workings in order to heal

and grow by working with me.

My desire is to help you and your children and teenagers connect to your true authentic self. Being a holistic child therapist in Los Angeles, I believe that this journey starts with self-love and unconditional acceptance.  Compassion goes a long way towards success and empowerment in helping them transition into adulthood.

A Message To My Clients

My soul mission as a holistic child therapist in Los Angeles is to help your adolescent truly know who you are at the core. As a multicultural therapist, I enjoy working with various cultures, races and backgrounds. I have the ability to meet your kiddo where they are at any stage of their life. I find that laughter is one of the best medicines in life, and so is crying or grieving. People are multidimensional beings and so complex from day to day. It's not easy being a human, however, it's truly a blessing!

If you are ready to experience this blessing, schedule a consultation today and know we will get you there TOGETHER.
