Light-hearted. Direct. Soft. Relatable
A Bit About Theodora

As a bereavement and depression specialist, the compounded grief I have endured as an adoptee and losing my adoptive mother to cancer, have helped me redefine my purpose to hold space for you. If you are looking for someone to understand you in your feelings of isolation, you are not alone; I am your ally.
As a marathon runner and a ketamine therapist in Los Angeles, I believe endurance running contains many life lessons. We have to pace ourselves, conserve our energy, and fuel ourselves properly to get us through the times that feel good and the times that feel not-so-good. And yet, sometimes that still might not feel like enough, and we hit a wall, but we get through it anyway. (Because of this background, as a therapist in Los Angeles, I also wholeheartedly believe in the power of movement for your mental health.)
You think 60,000 thoughts a day—don’t some of those deserve to be kinder to yourself?
Many of you have a ticker tape of negative thoughts running through our brain, which can be difficult to live with. This part of the brain is responsible for the inner monologue that never keeps quiet, called the default mode network. Over time, these negative loops can become engraved in your brain and show up as depression or anxiety, which is why it can feel so hard for you to change. As a ketamine therapist in Los Angeles, the thing I find beautiful about ketamine is that it is known to regulate this area of the brain, making it easier for you to transform and experience happiness by connecting with your heart center and inner child.
